SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA will be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed about the significant quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount read more of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The assistance point designed for intervention ordeals a large inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this sassa status reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to permit the servicing of all shoppers and increase entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
